3.5 stars, it could be better, and needs trigger warnings.

I am very confused by this. On one level this could've been so good. But... it was hugely let down by the incompetence of the security firm. No wonder they hadn't had any good jobs.

The plot was laid out for us... and then we got all the convenient neat little tie-ups.

There are many many unanswered questions... but quite frankly, I don't think that I have ti in to be bothered to ask.

So, the only one I will ask... do I bother with the next book? The jury is currently out.

Wow. Just wow. This book has some serious trigger warnings. But it was so freaking realistic. I told my husband it was like reading an episode of Criminal minds with a side of romance. I love Criminal minds BTW. Full review to come!

**** Written after first read, early 2015****
This was a really fun, fast read. When it first opened and I was reading Krista’s POV on Eye Candy, and then Eye Candy’s POV on Krista, he seemed creepy and I expected it to go in an entirely different direction than it did – meaning I was surprised at what Krista walked into when she stumbled into a mess. I also enjoyed watching Ryan’s character sort of evolve before my eyes.

Another character undergoes a change in demeanor too but no spoilers so I’ll just say I’m impressed and I think Conley is brilliant in creating her characters.

The feelings of the main characters are revealed and it’s predictable only in regards to the romance – the action that ensues is fun and not exactly as I’d expect it to be. I love that Conley doesn’t shy away from any topic or issue – it definitely makes her books feel more real.

I read this in just two sittings, unable to put it down. It was supposed to last me a little longer than it did but I simply couldn’t stop and stayed up all day reading it while I should’ve been sleeping. Whenever I put this book down, I missed it and had to pick it back up.

Cover: Professional, though not original.
Editing/Proofing: Excellent with spelling and grammar—very few errors found. However could use another pass, as there are some continuity issues.
Formatting: Absolutely gorgeous.

4 stars.

Re-read January 2019
Now that I’ve read the entire series and know how everything plays out, and I’m re-reading Crazy, all I can do is marvel at Conley’s brilliance. It all comes together so incredibly well, yet each piece wraps up as a nice, neat standalone. There are some continuity issues that could be addressed, one pretty major, but this doesn’t take away from the reading experience too much. There are still real feels, so much glorious angst and some of the hottest sex scenes I’ve read.
You absolutely must read this series.

Fantastic story

This book does have some very sensitive storylines but are handel with care.
Strong alpha characters and chemistry between them. Lots of brilliant characters introduced and lots of funny moments too. Enjoyed this book and thoroughly looking forward to the next book
