I have enjoyed Tara Sue Me's Submissive Series for the most part, and The Exposure was a solid addition. This one features Megan and Luke who after a brief and intense meeting in the past have parted ways. When they team up for a new project sparks between them fly. However, Megan is hiding a big secret and Luke feels betrayed when he finds out. The couple needs to decide if they can get over the past and work towards a future.

Although they ultimately solve their problems and have their happily ever after their story feels forced and a little rushed. So many stories have this same plot, a big secret and betrayal and then forgiveness. Tara Sue Me's specialty is her spicy love scenes and this one is no exception. I personally like having a little bit more of a story to go along with the sex. I did get to catch up with other characters in the series and that was good. Overall, a solid read and I look forward to the next book.

Thanks to NetGalley for the Advanced Reading Copy.

Luke & Meagan have a second chance after a weekend of bliss 15 years earlier. I don’t really like the amount of time they spent apart, but I realize the author wanted them to be older & more settled. I really enjoy Tara’s books & this is one of my favorites. Who knew what started as Twilight fanfiction would become an intricate web of BDSM stories? They’re so good, I reread them every year.

I liked Luke and Meagan and Luke's story. I am not usually one for second-chance romance but I liked this one. I was slightly disappointed that it was so short. I also didn't really feel like the blackmailer storyline fit well, but i guess it served its purpose in some aspects. I really like this series and would recommend the whole series.

When I first read the description I thought; Suspense mixed in with a little erotica/BDSM is a recipe for a great book! and at first I was all in, A relationship that never took off before was potentially getting a second chance to blossom. Maybe. That is if the secret that Megan is trying to protect won’t hurt their chances! The only reason for her to keep going is to find out who is behind the secret demands. The chemistry with her and Luke was palpable and the scenes were hot, but sadly after that this is were it lost me a bit, it got a little draggy and I found myself stopping a lot throughout reading it. Fantastic read, just not for me.

This book contains characters from the previous book however they become side characters and we focus more on characters that were only briefly mentioned in the previous book. Here we find Meagan Bishop who is being blackmailed by someone calling themselves "the taskmaster", she has to get information on an old flame or else risk exposure, the consequences of which would not just ruin her life but the lives of her family.

Once again we see another steamy novel from this author. Although it is not just about the BDSM and sex, it is also just as thrilling as any mystery or crime novel. However lets just say the sex scenes aren't to be overlooked, they are VERY steamy!

Without giving away too much of the story I think this book was very well written, I have never before seen erotica and thriller in the same book and yet here it is, looking like the two always should have gone together.

If you were a fan of the previous book then you will definitely like this (unfortunately I can't speak for the other books in the series as I am yet to read them). Also if you have just finished 50 shades of Grey and are looking for something similar then please do read this book! It shows the right way of BDSM relationships and there is nothing controlling about it. It shows that there should be trust and respect between the two partners and that the submissive holds all the power. This is what a BDSM book should be, not the controlling and abusive relationship.
