Cute story with a great premise, though the main character wasn't my favorite. I know we're supposed to like her despite her impulsivity, but her constant excuses and "I didn't mean to"s grated on me. Still excited to see where the plot goes in the next book, though!

Really fun series that entertained my 10 yr old, my 6 yr old and me. Clever humor and vivid description make this series a keeper. My son especially enjoyed the audio book narrator and one voice elicited lots of laughter.

It was fun to find out what Ben and Pearl would be doing for Dr Woo. I want to spank Pearl for breaking the rules. I wonder if she learned her lesson?

This second book in the series picks right up where the first one left off. It does change perspectives and tells the story from Pearl's point of view. Some of her decisions I found irritating, but I think that's because I'm an adult. It was a delightful adventure and gives the reader a few things to wonder about for the next book. Can't wait! I have loved reading this series out loud to my 7 year old.

Read with daughter, 10, who says "This book brought many ideas into my mind. I liked the way there are sometimes funny names for chapters, and cliffhangers on almost every one. Maybe I will write a book like this when I grow up." Looking forward to the next book, and meeting the author tomorrow. The series is definitely recommended!

A fun and entertaining book. Second in the series. I read it before book one and found I could follow along easily enough
