Book 3 of the Rewind or Die Series

This novella felt like a horror movie I would have rented from my local Super Duper on a Friday night. My best friend and I would sit there with our fuzzy navels, the epitome of sophistication to our teenage brains, and popcorn and wait for her brother to sneak up behind us and scare us as he always did. (R.I.P. John.)

There is a thin plot to this story and the action begins almost immediately, but as other reviewers have said that ending was a punch to the gut.

I LOVED this one. Benny Rose the Cannibal King has everything I love in a good slasher.

In a small town with nothing else to do everyone talks about Benny Rose. The question is are these ghost stories, more fiction than fact? How much truth is there to the ghost stories about The Cannibal King?
Well, you're about to find out.

For a story so short I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about the pacing or my connection to the characters but the pacing was perfect and I felt so deeply for our main character. Plus the twist at the end honestly surprised me. It added so much depth to the story. This will definitely be a book I re-read in October

Urban Legend Perfection

What a tale Hailey Piper weaves in this fast-paced slice of Halloween horror. Full review is on the way soon

"...teeth dug into it and tore flesh away with a sound like tape yanked off a roll."
Stay away from Glade Street on Halloween night! On Halloween night in 1953, Blackwood Mercy Hospital burned to the ground. 5 children & 1 adult were never recovered; 34 years later an unlucky few are about to find out why! Fast paced horror tale with an unusual premise. Entertaining and gory, the climax is a bit over the top with some (unintentional? ) laughs. Cannibalism = teeth....so. Extreme horror with elements of satire & black comedy. I enjoyed the ride.

Wow-this was a really good quick read. Perfect for Halloween, the villain in this story was actually terrifying and relentless. Story takes place on Halloween night so I would highly recommend this for a seasonal read.
