Well, I'm not sure this would convince any dedicated vegetable haters to eat beets, but for a kid who just hasn't tried much in the way of vegetables, I guess it might help. I like the illustrations when it's the garden, but the people are a bit creepy.

This is the third Oliver book apparently, although the first one I have read, not that it matters with these books.
A short illustrated story, promoting vegetables, and helping Oliver overcome only wanting chips.
A good healthy book.

Short text and vibrant illustrations. Oliver visits his grandfather and helps in the garden and eats many types of veggies.
