I thought my journey with the Hades Hangmen was over. Alas, a very good friend convinced me to pick up this book. And I am so glad that I did! This book was a solid 4.5 stars for me.

I actually am still so impressed by Tillie's writing, that she was able to convince me to root for a man that I didn't have any interest in, Rider (MMC).

After I finished Book 3, Souls Unfractured, I felt satisfied. Flame & Maddie still hold my heart in this series. But, I will say that the FMC in Deep Redemption is one of the biggest Queen B's I have read about. She carried this book on her shoulders in my opinion:

I can't say much about the FMC, just that I respect her so much. Her bravery, in so many different situations...I was bowing down to this Queen. Cheering her on and saying "Fuck them, you tell them girl!". Tillie really outdid herself with this FMC.

And of course, I loved seeing Flame & Maddie. They remain so special to me and I'm happy with how the character's remained true to themselves. I however, was a little surprised with a few other characters, I won't spoil that. Those character's felt different in this book, which I believe was the Author's intent...but I didn't necessarily like it.

I think this book was absolutely necessary. Although, some parts were a tad repetitive. Looking at this book as a whole. I feel that Tillie accomplished a very difficult task. She used a similar storyline for 4 consecutive books and she used an MMC that she made us despise/dislike. But, somehow she managed to hold my interest and made it a satisfying read. She brought so much heart and strength with this book. I honestly am so impressed how she weaved this story.

Honestly, this is probably my least favorite in the series so far. I had high expectations for it because a lot needed to be done to redeem Cain. I felt like while his mind had changed about the order because of the brother sister sharings, he still hadn’t done enough to be redeemed.

I was often pretty torn in this book. I was glad that the hangmen didn’t kill him but I also understood why they were still being so harsh on him at the end. I like Bella as an FMC but I’m going to be honest I didn’t really like them as a couple.

Now that I have read the book after this, he does way more in it to redeem himself than this one. I kind of wished I could have skipped this one but needed it for context.

I'm undecided about this one. It was just ok. Didn't love it, although it was better than book 3 which I hated. I never really warmed to bella or rider at all. I'm kinda fed up with all this cult stuff to be honest. I might give the next book ago and if I don't like that one, I think I will leave this series be. My problem with this book is rider ? Mae told him she was raped as a child and he didn't believe her in the first few books, has the three sisters kidnapped, and now he suddenly does realise all this cult shite is wrong, after the awful shit that happened to Delilah, bit too late in my opinion.

My other problem with this book; why is rider a part of this series if he doesn't become a hates hangman? Maybe it come at a later date, who knows. Oh and I like alpha males and rider isn't an alpha, another reason for me to no likey.....

I totally loved this story. This entire series I’ve enjoyed.
The MC’s are just, wow. Their stories are crazy.
The audiobook is a dual narration, not my preferred narration but the storyline kept me so engaged.

If Cain/Rider had only been fed the bare minimum food required to keep him alive for a couple of months, wouldn’t he have looked rather emaciated? Wouldn’t people have been able to tell? I still love this series, though.

This has to be one of my favorite series of all time. I get so entranced in the books, I just can't stop listening. This one featured Rider and Harmony. I have been looking forward to Rider's story since book one and could not wait to get into it. Picking up where book 3 left off, Rider is in a cell, which is where he meets Harmony, a cursed woman of Eve. What happens throughout this book is hot, sexy, horrifying, tragic, unbelievable and so incredibly captivating that the earbuds just would not come out. Each scene held a twist, a turn, an emotion that made you cringe, smile and cry.

The narrators of this book, JF Harding and Athena Pappas are magic together. I cannot wait until book 5

I’m so glad Rider got his comeback story! I this one had my favorite storyline out of the ones I’ve read so far.
