A curious little book, drastically different from the books [a:Margaret Wise Brown|18479|Margaret Wise Brown|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/authors/1208465845p2/18479.jpg] is known for: [b:Goodnight Moon|32929|Goodnight Moon|Margaret Wise Brown|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1348416480s/32929.jpg|1086867] and [b:The Runaway Bunny|58922|The Runaway Bunny|Margaret Wise Brown|https://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1348411757s/58922.jpg|2039654]. What's interesting about this fantastical story is the different viewpoint for looking at the world that it brings us. It's sort of an "Open up your senses!" kind of book. The Little Indian's days are not denoted by Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or June, July, August, instead they are descriptive and bring attention to the little things that are ever changing but often invisible to us in our daily grind: Day of the first nut that fell... Day of the little blue dish... Day of the cold nose

A surprisingly memorable little book
