I loved the way this one ended. I especially love how it all worked out, both for Bette and Alex. For most of this book, I really didn't like Bette. Her meddling in others affairs, even if she did it for good reason, really irked me. I don't like gossips or those that can't mind their business. And she just wouldn't stop after a disastrous matchmaking on her part. She didn't learn her lesson until the very last one went wrong. Then, the way she treated Alex annoyed me. He wouldn't have proposed if he didn't love her. And he had to propose 3 times for her to finally say yes. Star for the ending. Star for Alex. And Star for all the other characters involved.
