Brief and breezy feminist history of booze, written in a casual and chatty tone. I'd love to see a less "cool" and more academic version of this book sometime, but it was still a pretty fun and entertaining read, and I got plenty out of it. More feminist alcohol history please.

Yes - the history of women and alcohol is quite something - and not to be taken for granted.

Read up - Cheers!

Love me a well-written, thoroughly researched book on a topic I had never really given much thought to.
