Penelope, I can seriously read all your books.
I love a good enemies to lovers book but this was more friends to enemies to lovers. I basically read this in one sitting

God I wish this book had dual pov! Honestly if I’m going to give this book an honest review, I would say that Tate was annoying and I felt like she could’ve been easier when forgiving Jared. However, I do see where she is also hesitant. In the end I thought their love story was super cute and I’m glad it worked out for them in the end!

We all knew a shitty romance book had to show up for me to read sooner or later. This just so happened to fall in my line of fire.
This wasn't really anything special. I usually enjoy enemies to lovers type stories, but I feel like Jared was just way too mean to be likable at all. There was very little depth to him as a character and his moods seemed to just flip on a dime.
Tate, the heroine, also wasn't the greatest or most enjoyable. This was exactly the same as every other mediocre enemies to lovers story I've ever read and there was nothing special and it was all quite heavyhanded and predictable.
