My favorite of the series so far, most adventurous and action packed in the shortest time crunch. You really need know how the kids will get out of all the scrapes, not where the adults really are, but these are jolly good fun!

What Miss Josie says to the Vanderbeeker kids perfectly sums up why I so enjoy reading about them: “From where I’m standing, I see five kids who are growing up and wanting to do good in the world. And that fills me with hope.” The Vanderbeeker books make me happy. What a gift that is.
