After an unflattering video of her goes viral, Adalyn is sent to Green Oak, NC to redeem herself by working with the local girl's U10 soccer team. But she immediately butts heads with her neighbor, who also happens to be the team's coach. Cam is a former soccer star currently hiding out in Green Oak after an incident with a stalker. Adalyn blows into town and shakes up his quiet life, much to his dismay. Will they find a way to work together?

The Long Game was so fun! It was grumpy/grumpy and I loved it. Both Adalyn and Cam have a grumpy side to them, but that side motivated by different triggers. It was cute to watch their stubbornness and competitiveness play out on the page, particularly as they started to get to know each other.

I think my favorite part was the two of them participating in all the town recreation events. Cam signs Adalyn up to help her 'fit in' and she turns around and drags her with him. It was a good grumpy/grumpy spin on a small-town setting.
