Good but not great. Bardugo relies too heavily on tropes when she is a more than capable writer. But, she does a great job with the world-building. Also, I think usually think friends-to-lovers romances are cute, but I find certain aspects of Mal and Alina’s relationship to be quite problematic (ie: excessive jealousy).

Parabéns, Leigh. O mundo é foda. Grishas são fodas, mas... Tem umas idéias loucas, mais loucas que pensar que Grishas existem, que são bem incômodas... Alina é uma personagem inconstante, não há nada de profundo nela, no Maly e nem no Darkling. O livro tem 288 páginas e é nisso o problema, a corrida de tudo. Os próximos, eu lerei, com toda certeza, mas esperando o aprofundamento dos personagens.

4...Okay, this is one of those novels that show sometimes, even I enjoy over done storylines...This one reminded me a little of TOG, whole necklace, power over you...Literally as EVERY making for YA, couldn't put it down...EVEN SO I wanted SO MUCH more...more depth, different character views...something was amiss...just can't put my finger on...I will be reading the next...several...
