The sequel collection of stories to R/evolution. It picks off a generation or two after the events of the last book, and follows one of the characters from the previous book.

This book was immensely consumable and had such a state of tension running through it. I enjoyed the pace of this book a lot more than the book, but I felt like the expansion on the series' themes fell a bit to the wayside because of it. It's heart-wrenching at times and found family in some aspects, and I highly recommend anyone pick up these biology-based dystopian novels.

The themes echo Goliath Onyebuchi in some aspects, but approach and play with them in very different ways.

Main themes - Social inequality (especially medically), environmental racism, government regulation, memory. Has found family aspects.
