I wanted to like this book more than I did but my main problem was with Adalyn. She was a frustrating main character, one I didn't enjoy getting to know as the pages progressed. Armas wrote her as a complete idiot, and I was openly rolling my eyes at her decisions.

The book itself is fine, though with some plot holes that never really resolve themselves. How did Cam end up in North Carolina? Why did David try to blackmail ownership of the Flames?

Overall it was fine but nothing super exciting.

This book was so much fun. Both Adalyn & Cameron were very mature (for the most part) when it came to conflict, and yet there was still evident character development for both of them. Looking forward to Josie finding her HEA 🩷
