"You could have been my future, instead of my past."

One book ago, I said I didn't like how amateurish Revelation was. Well, I really love Randi Cooley Wilson's writing here! It's almost like authors improve. Lol.

"Tonight, I'm going to let you go. Not because I want to, but because I have to. I will take care of you. Even if it's from afar. I'll dream of you every damn night. I'll remember you, always."

"I will never regret you, raindrop."

I love it so much even if it's angsty. I can't wait to read the next book! ♥♥♥

Awesome start to series. Serena and Tristan have instant chemistry from the moment they meet. I love the banter between the two of them. There is just one huge obstacle in their way. I hope there is a way to get around it. Waiting on the next installment!!!

📚📚 BOOK REVIEW 📚📚
This is book one of three.....I really wasn’t sure what to expect, I had an image of HP meets Shadow Hunters. WRONG!!!!
It took me a few chapters to figure out what was going on I must admit, there was lots unsaid and it leaves the reader literally reading between the lines. It all fell into place just as I was about to give up, I’m so glad I didn’t.
The story has real promise, book one is definitely a setting the scene novel, hopefully more begins to happen in book two, which I’m currently reading.
A few nice twists and turns but nothing that made me gasp. Pretty emotional moments which made me well up.
So far a nice read and a little naughty but I’m not gushing ❤️📚

Absolutely breathtaking story. From the very first sentence to the very last word, you will be drawn in. Randi Cooley Wilson weaves a tapestry of art with her words, painting a breathtaking love story between Tristan and Serena. They will overcome any and all obstacles for their heart's desire, yet the biggest obstacle they can't seem to see past are themselves. A little like Romeo and Juliet, they are the star-crossed lovers of their generation. As niece to Asher and Eve St. Michael, Serena is the Heir to the St. Michael Gargoyle throne since Asher and Eve have no children of their own (and never will), and Tristan is the son of the bad boy of days gone by, Gage Gallagher. However, Tristan has been assigned as Serena's current and personal guard. He is also a resident Professor and happens to be staying in HER dorm apartment. Can they stay away from each other? Can he keep his promises to his family? Can Serena? As Heir to the throne, and Tristan has his own obligations to HIS family (his mother, but I won't spoil that. You will have to read the book.), they have so many things to overcome and figure out. And war is coming to Earth once again. Heaven and Hell are getting ready to wage war, and this time, it's a battle for Serena's life.

The concept is kind of cool with all the fantasy characters, gargoyles, nymphs, satyrs etc. The romance between Serena and Tristan is kind of cringey for me though.
