Part One of the Men of Steel * has a lot going for it , starting with Superman and Jon Clark** encounter the place where Doomsday was kept imprisoned , Having seen the place literally disappear from the middle of Metropolis .
* yes .I know , it's yet another Superman story arc dubbed Men / Man of steel . Don't.Get.Me.Started !
** Oh Come On ! When can we finally start calling him Superboy?
But unfortunately Superman and his son can't investigate the place as trouble arrives elsewhere when a couple of powerful beings attack Super Lex* citing that they have seen a future where Super Lex becomes the next Darkseid and takes over the universe . All this happens while Lois was trying to interview Lex , and Coincidentally also on site is the mysterious Clark Kent
* call me old school , but even typing that seems wrong
The story was action packed , and intense . With the various mysteries surrounding the new Clark Kent and his motives and Super Lex still in place the book also creates a menacing idea of a being with the power of Darkseid and the evil of Lex luthor . Boy if that actually does happen , won't that be a sight to be hold .
