I completely fell in love with the characters in this book. The main characters, Anna and Lane, the secondary characters, Sandra and Kym, and the children, Ella and Tobes.

The story is different from most of the lesbian romances I've read and very, very well done. The author takes her time with the development of the relationships and I felt completely invested in every aspect of the book.

I laughed and I cried. Dropped several tears in a few different places.

I highly recommend this book and I can't wait to read more from her.

This was a fantastic book. The story was both sad and hopeful. It was very sweet to see how Anna dealt with such a difficult situation. The issues with the kids and the blooming romance with her coworker were both well told. Definitely expect some tears reading this, but also an excellent story.

This book really hits home with me. I love the character growth and humor in this book. It is so well written that I could start it all over again just after finishing it.

Cat Gould does a great job narrating. Every emotional beat is hit just right and the voices for the characters are distinct so that always know who is talking.

Enjoyed this very much - a bit sappy, quite heartbreaking and totally cute. Really liked the slow romantic build up, loved the kids and their and Anna's development with all its setbacks. A great story about love, life and loss and an awesome debut novel.

This book just ticked every single box. It was funny, cute, sexy, emotional, adorable, tense and just overall fabulous. It will definitely hit you super hard in the feels, found myself crying on multiple occasions but loved every single second of it. This little family is just perfection and made me want to be part of it.
