Okay I loved it I'm not gonna lie. I enjoyed this book just as much at 29 as I did at 12. It was honestly kind of intense and dark for a middle grade book, but at the same time we get to see Firepaw and his friends standing up for the truth, kindness, and fairness which is really powerful, for me as an adult and when I was young!

Not as good as I remember from my childhood, but that's to be expected. It really picks up in the second half. It was fun meeting young cats and remembering what their future holds! I think for an adult reader, it really toes the line between exciting and frustrating.

Yellowfang's still great though.
