This is by no means a great book but it was an enjoyable creature romp.
I appreciated how it is a relatively diverse cast and doesn't have the rampant racism a lot of books of this era have.
It does feel like the book is building....building....building...and then has A LOT of stuff happen way to fast. Could have used another 50 pages.
