This may be the best memoir I've ever read. Molly is so positive and gracious, and appreciative of all of the things she's gone through. Even the rough stuff. She is a phenomenal storyteller. And, of course, hilarious.  But there is SO MUCH HEART in this book! I loved the inside look at her SNL days, and how she came up with her most iconic characters, but her openness with everything else was truly touching. I couldn't count how many times I cried. This was a surprising emotional read, and I loved every second if it!

Molly has overcome a lot of adversity in her life after losing her mother at a very young age, and her father having his own faults while she was growing up.  She used all that to foster her sense of humor and to fuel her as she became an actor.  I enjoyed this very fast paced, easy to read book.  I listened to it in her voice, which is my favorite way to read celebrity memoirs.

I loved this memoir! Molly Shannon's life has been difficult in so many ways, but she has an incredibly positive, sunny attitude about all of it. Her relationship with her father was tough but she loved him so much and always wanted him to be proud of her. I found her story so inspiring.
