Please ignore the title and the cover....this book deserves better. Worth every minute of reading!

Hmm, I liked this but didn't love it. It took a long time for me to get attached to the characters, but I really loved Bodee. No review because I don't have a lot to say about it. Solid contemporary, but nothing that stood out to me.

Let me tell you what made this book so memorable.

Bodee.

You amazing, adorable, sweet sweet boy carried this book and I am indefinitely in love with you.
You made me cry, made me scream at how adorable you are, made me smile countless times and I will forever hold a place for you in my heart.

I enjoyed this book. I feel like I've read it before but it was still fascinating. It wasn't obvious who had hurt her. It was hard to put it all together but I knew. I knew somehow it was him. I'm glad the sister finally came around. I'm glad she finally was able to move on from the past. I'm glad he was able to move on. They don't need to fake normal. They can be who they are along with their flaws and tragic stories. I like their stories. I felt like the romance part of could've been better established, probably because I'm more so used to reading full-blown romance stories. I guess you can call it. They can live a happy life, because that's what their stories have prepared them for. It's given them the strengths to fight for themselves and their future. To face whatever comes their way.

There were a few things in this that I felt like could be omitted, but damn was this kinda powerful.

I read this book because the author was coming to visit our school, and I have several students who LOVE her. I would definitely say readers of Sarah Dessen and Laurie Halse Anderson would like her books. I liked it a lot, and I like the author even more.

If you're thinking, "hmm, I kinda want to read this but I dunno". Stop. Read it. Now.
This book made me feel so many emotions and I just want to cry and have Bodee hug me. Definitely one of my favourite books of this year!
