Sarah Blue has knocked it out of the park with this one. I really enjoyed the first in the series, and so I jumped into this one with no preamble and didn't even take the time to read through the blurb. The characters were so charming and realistic, even set in an omegaverse world. I loved how tenuous each relationship was at the start, and that each character had a distinct voice and distinct insecurities.

The relationship between the three of them felt like a house build slowly brick by brick, rather than something slammed together like in so many other why choose/omegaverse books. I feel like their hesitations to start into the relationship made sense and them being able to communicate together and help support each other's individual needs was very sweet (and steamy at times!).

Having two of the characters not be able to touch for a portion of it was genius and very appreciated from this readers perspective. Forced prox + forbidden touching? Sign me up anytime!

I recommend this if you enjoy hockey romance, why choose, MM relationships, in depth characters that still maintain a good banter, strong heroines, omegaverse elements, or any other Sarah Blue titles.

Wow! I don’t get how Sarah Blue does it. This book gave me all the feels! It was so fucking hot! Daddy Alexi really just did it for me. I knew when we met him in the last book that he was going to be everything. I really loved watching these characters grow together. The found family aspect was really touching as well. This book is the prime example of why I love omegaverse so much. Not to mention the praise kink enjoys the shit out of it. The spice was so good and the sexual tension was HOT! Thank you Sarah for the opportunity to receive this ARC. I cannot wait for the next book.

Piper is a female alpha who loves being a doctor, but is losing passion for surgery, much to her father's dismay. Alexi is a male alpha and captain of the NHL hockey team that Charlotte's men are on. Owen is hiding a secret from everyone, keeping his identity and designation under wraps for fear of discrimination until hiding his identity causes some medical concerns.....

This trio had a lot going on between the 3 of them personally AND in regards to each other.... poor Alexi knew just how much he had his work cut out for him between Piper's emotional unavailability and Owen's hatred for his designation and the discrimination that goes along with it. He definitely had his hopeless moments, but in the end, he got what he knew was always meant for him!

Calling people alphas and betas is so strange to me. Doing it once is fine but it was way over used.
