Wow. That was unexpected. I randomly picked this off of deseret bookshelf without knowing anything about it. But it was the perfect book to read sick in bed :p besides the fact that I spent the whole book either crying for Christian or hacking my lungs our :D All that aside, I enjoyed A Blind Eye a lot! It was engaging and entertaining and I couldn't have asked for a better quick read. Aw man I love Christian so much too XD And it was completely clean! Yay! I definitely recommend.

Really enjoyed this 1st book from Julie Daines. It's a fun mystery and light clean romance geared more for teenagers, but I enjoyed it nevertheless. It is filled with lots of action and is fast paced. Very quick read. It's also told from a teenage boy's perspective which was fun. I also liked the changing relationship between father and son. I gave it 3 1/2 to 4 stars. I think anyone 12 and older would like it.

This is another one I was pleasantly surprised by! I didn't have super high expectations going in, but I loved the way this story unfolded. Lots of action and suspense, but plenty of quiet moments too. There is an element of the paranormal in the story, but overall I thought it was more realistic than other stories I've read (in terms of how teens might handle certain situations). I thought the father/son relationship was also well done.

the only thing stopping me from giving this book 5 stars was the fact that the main characters had only known each other for a day and they were already mackin' out... really...
