Yes! My heart still needs a little more mending and repairing, but this book made a great start. I really enjoy this series. It's light-hearted, it's fun, it feels kinda realistic and Mia is such a likable character! It's kinda weird that the next book is already the last! (Although, I saw there was an eleventh book out too, just not in a matching edition, of course) This series has been so comforting and entertaining and amusing! I Can't wait to read the last one!

I really liked Mia in this book and found her much more relatable and understandable than in some other books. I'm annoyed that my library doesn't have Forever Princess so I can finish off this series! I have to wait until I make it to one of the other local libraries.

This was a bit of a hot mess after how good the previous book was.

So. Good.

Not sure if I'm on board with the 'bomb' Mia throw at the end.

So I read this because my 9 year old daughter heard that the movie 'Princess Diaries' was based on a book and wanted to read them. When they turned up in the YA section, I thought I'd better read them first. This is one of those rare times that the movies is MUCH better than the book. Mia comes across as whiny, self-centered and really obnoxious in this book. Granted it's the 9th book, but it was bad. And the references to losing one's virginity and the likes makes it very inappropriate for a 9 year old, even though the movie is a big hit with that crowd.

Okay this is the best one, after the first. Books 3-7 are largely skippable, but I loved this one.

Mia comes into her own (FINALLY) and we get to explore so many things with her: depression, therapy, change making, best friends who are actually terrible friends, enemies who aren’t that bad and are maybe better than your best friend, the growing body changes of a 16yo girl, and of course, how great baby doll tops are with low rise jeans. *chef’s kiss*

I really liked how this book went deeper into Mia’s emotions and not just a shallow overview of her and all of her friends drama. We see a huge step towards bettering her mental health and how she goes through her depression. It was relatable and emotional. This series is definitely maturing as it progresses

I know people absolutely hate this book because she gets with JP, but I actually don’t hate their relationship. I think it’s healthy. And we finally get to see Mia realize that Lilly’s an awful person!
