Very good account of the history of the period and its major players. I'm not sure if the title is accurate...it could be more accurately titled "The story of the men around Katharine". I understand that given the scant primary sources concerning Katharine herself, a historical recounting that was truly about her may be closer to 100 pages and not 400...but I'd prefer to see the smaller book that matched its title and purpose.
