I don't really know what to say about this book. It absolutely sucked me in and I finished it faster than most audiobooks recently.
The suspense of what would happen next and the constant trying to figure out the past was absolutely exhilarating. Also, the family dynamic was intriguing.
The best synopsis I can give with no spoilers is that guy meets girl, then her family decides to "visit" a week after they're married. Family suddenly seems very comfortable in guys house and are very shady about their pasts.
Weird things start happening around the neighborhood and guy starts to investigate and suspect the new in-laws and starts to go mad trying to figure everything out.
I can't say more without giving away some major plot points. There is cursing, although I don't recall it being horrible. Definitely would recommend for adults and up due to some of the stuff discussed. Genre is 100% thriller.
