This was good. Fast paced and an easy read. Not quite a 4 star just because I felt there was something missing.

This book isn’t complicated it’s just a fun horror slasher style book felt like I was watching a horror movie and I loved every minute of it

This over all was a good . Egnacio was completely scary and the gore and death was awesome!  Some of it was a bit cheesy but that’s what I love about slashers . For me it was a bit challenging to follow so many different characters and POV. I enjoyed the book over all.

I had a lot of fun reading this one! I didn't like how it jumped from pov to pov without any warning, though. That made reading this a bit confusing at times. However, I loved how Gomez took elements from different and campy 80's horror movies and gave it his own spin. I'm a bit of a horror fan myself so, I really enjoyed that aspect of it. Even the supernatural elements sprinkled in (very Jason Voorhees type feel). I think this book was meant to a fun, campy (no pun intended, haha!) experience and it definitely delivered. Even though the characters did come off a bit immature for their age, I thought they were very realistic for the setting and the vibe that this book was going for. I want more from Sergio Gomez, for sure!

This book was not what it was advertised to be. If you're seeking straight up slasher horror? This isn't the book for you.

It introduces supernatural/paranormal elements that really drag it down.

Also, there are ways the killer is described that make me feel deeply uncomfortable as it seems to heavily suggest the mental illness super power aspect at one point amongst other things.
