Killware: A Thrill Switch novella by Tim Hawken is a wild concept. It is told in 100 chapters with 100 words each. Somehow Tim pulled it off against all odds.
Detective Bram Tedeschi is tasked with solving the deaths of two VR gamers who were electrocuted in their haptic suits. It is a tight story with a small cast of characters, so it's no surprise who is behind the murders. But how we got there and the few reveals were neat and tidy. I would have liked some more fleshing out, but considering the concept, it was very well done.
