This book was so ridiculous, but funny. And I’m pretty sure I know the exact families that inspired Caitlin’s family in the book.

Absolutely hilarious. This was my first time reading this author and he didn't disappoint. I haven't laughed so much while reading since I first discovered Meg Cabot. Fabulous.

Very silly and stupid. And as ever, that is the kind of thing that I love in an audiobook when I'm only paying partial attention.

Funny at times but I didn't care for the way he portrayed christians and Christianity. Take out all that stereotyping and it would have been a much better read.

Caitlin is to keep her teen celeb cousin (think Jennifer Lawrence mixed with Kristin Stewart) sober and out of trouble. Caitlin believes it is a test from God and decides to go along. Turns out they both influence each other. Caitlin attends premier events and meets her cousin's hot co-stars (random funny love triangle ensues). Throw in a Make-A-Wish child and you have this surprisingly awesome book.

This book is an interesting connection between a rigid Christian girl and her out of control teen starlet cousin. While the main Christian character is totally not believable, the book is funny and quirky. At first I didn't think I was going to like it, but the ridiculousness of plot events still gets me to laugh.

This was not my favorite read, but I thought it was funny at certain points. The writing felt too cheesy to me.

Okay, I'll admit this book was a wild-ride. Once it really got going, I could not find it in me to put it down. Personally, I blame the fast-moving plot and Rudnick's countless attempts to make this book more than another shallow madcap comedy. The main characters are pleasant and some moments are very, very funny. If you're looking for a quick distraction from a cold winter day, this book is perfect. I wouldn't buy it though- I would borrow it from friend or your local library.

To be honest, there were just too many ways the book could've been better. I don't know why Heller and Catey didn't have alternating chapters to balance each other out- Catey's perspective was a little too-much at times: I couldn't follow her line of thought and the bulk of the story was left out of the story during plot breaks. Heller was also a very interesting character but also unbelievable at points. Also, Catey's New Jersey is very different from the real New Jersey, and as a jersey girl myself, I couldn't get this out of my head.

I did, however, really enjoy the little parodies about YA Lit in this one- from it's little friendly jabs at The Fault in Our Stars to Twilight to The Hunger Games. Overall, I'll say this is a fun book for teens, but it isn't anything special.

I was so close to the end I thought I would just push through it but man it was boring. I thought I would like this because I liked another book from Rudnick but I was mistaken.
