What I love about this series is that the heroine isn’t an idiot. There is no miscommunication, she is actively keeping her partner informed about what is going on around her, and while things outside of their control causes tension and issues at least their relationship is stronger for it. We need more of this in our romance stories.

Talk about epic cliffhanger...
I'm glad I noticed book 4 on Goodreads before I even started this book. Otherwise, agony, anger, and rage will consume you at the bitter taste of unfulfilled answers.

This series has been intense and gets your blood rushing at the mere mention of all the possibilities. Too much has happened. Too many things can still happen.

I'm dying to vent all my worries, anger, and issues but clearly Ms. Jones wants us on edge and panting for more. She may not like the consequences of HER actions...

Maybe we can make some calls...lol. Bad Deeds has an incredible ending but the crazy part is the beginning. This series barely leaves room for breathing. It is 110% imperative that you read these books in order. That being said, I appreciate the recap that the author includes because let's face it not everything remains fresh in your mind 6 months after reading. It's especially helpful for reminding you of key elements that will come back into play.

It's an incredibly tense series. I love each and every calculated moment.

If you read my reads of Damage Control (Dirty Money, #2), then you know I was expecting a lot to happen in Bad Deeds. Well, I can say I was not disappointed. There was so much that happened in Bad Deeds and it was all so good! I really enjoyed getting to know more about Derek and Teresa in this book. We even get a few chapters that are told from their points of view. My heart truly goes out to Teresa and her situation. I've always seen this series advertised as "Sons of Anarchy meets Wall Street" and that comparison has always been lost on me because I've never seen Sons of Anarchy. I can say, however, that this book reminds of the TV show Scandal, just battling for a company instead of a country.

I will warn you, this book ends with a MASSIVE cliffhanger. It's one of the most anxiety filled cliffhangers I've ever seen, to be honest. Thankfully, Endgame has already released and we can find out what happens next, because I must know! I'm so excited to read the conclusion of Shane and Emily's story. This series has quickly become my favorite romantic suspense series!

Seriously!! I should probably wait to write this review when I'm not screaming at the book and possibly cursing Lisa. How can she do this? I mean I thought for sure we were going to tie up all the loose ends, but no. She leaves the mother of all cliffys!! This was so fast paced and yelled in so many directions you really wanted to see the end. Guess we all wait patiently. if you haven't started reading the series maybe wait until she's through to not torture yourself like the masochist I apparently am.

This series is getting so much better! I hated the cliffhanger though. I kind of saw something like this happening, but it felt rushed. I'm excited to see what happens in the next book.

You probably noticed that I have read a lot of Lisa Renee Jones' books and you know what? I will be reading and review much more in the future because I am a huge fan of hers.

Bad Deeds is book number 3 in the Dirty Money series and you must read the previous books in order to fully understand this book.

This book (and previous ones in the series) is very well written and it got me hooked from the very beginning.

I do highly recommend this .

I give Bad Deeds are 5 out of 5.

I am a late comer to books by Lisa Renee Jones, but have quickly come to appreciate this author's fabulous writing style and the stories she creates. This series quickly grabbed my attention, drawing me into the world of the Brandon family and keeps me coming back for more. This installment was no exception. It is a riveting story full of lust, love, lies, betrayal, and suspense. The twists and turns that this author has woven into this third book will keep the reader turning the pages racing to a cliffhanger that will leave them speechless. If you have not picked up a book by this author, I suggest you find one of her series or duets and give her a try. You definitely will not be disappointed.

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy provided to me by the author through Netgalley.

Shane and Emily are trying to keep everything together while battling the Martina drug cartel and keeping control of Brandon Enterprises.  Derek and Brandon Sr aren't making anything easy along with lies and back door deals that might put the company in ruins.  Betrayals within the family make it harder for Shane to protect the family name.  He an Emily draw closer even though there is still danger from her past life.  Brandon Sr's health is declining more and Shane must make drastic moves to ensure all is not lost.  The book ends in another cliffhanger so I will need to read the next one.  This one was a little long and some of the information could've been cut.

Bad Deeds is the best story of the series and certainly my favourite so far. But UGH!! that ending. Talk about leaving me hanging and I really can't believe I have to wait until next year to find out what happens next.

But seriously I loved this story. Which has got more and more complex, interesting and intriguing as its progressed. With Shane and Derek now appearing to be on the same side. The escalating threat from the cartel and all the lies and betrayals from their parents. This story really had it all and it kept me hooked from beginning to end.

As did the continuing relationship between Shane and Emily. Which has gone from strength to strength. Even in the face of everything that has happened and I really can't wait to find out what happens next.

And honestly this was a brilliant and engaging read. That I'd happily recommend to others and roll on January. As I really can't wait to get my hands on End Game. :-)
