I have been provided with a copy of Many Lives Mega Boxset: Epic Paranormal Romance series by the author for an impartial review. This box set includes Awakened, Feral, Taken, Fated, and Redemption. I’ll be updating this book review as I finish each book.

Awakened

Feral

This book is a short novella so it has to be able to grab your attention in a short amount of time and this author truly succeeded. It had me hooked from the very beginning until the very end. I hated that it had to end I wanted it to continue. I really loved the characters and it ended in a way that you know there is the possibility of there being more in the series but it didn’t leave you angry that this is the way it ended. Anyone that wants to read something unique and completely different this is the book for you.

Taken

I didn’t know what to expect with this book I didn’t know if it was going to pick up right back up were Feral ended with Jai being the main character instead of Maya. This book takes place several years after the first book so it could be read without reading the first book you would just be missing some of the history and I believe enough of it is explained in this book. I enjoy books like this where each book can stand on its own so if you’re like me in that aspect you will enjoy this book. The summary of this book made me think that it would start three years down the road and that it you would just catch glimpses of what happened between the main characters in the past instead of experiencing it. I was so wrong it starts with them meeting and then when it gets almost halfway through the book time jumps forward three years. I like this better because I don’t like it when a book starts in the future and has flashbacks or explaining chapters to catch you up I like to experience the story first hand from beginning to end so I really enjoyed the way the author wrote this book. I enjoyed seeing how Jai and Aria interacted at the beginning of their journey and I really enjoyed the anticipation of waiting to see how their next encounter would be after the three years and how everything would turn out. The anticipation just kept me reading I had to know what would happen.

Fated

It was a novella so it was an easy and short read that you can finish in a matter of hours. In this novella you meet Maya and Luke’s daughter Leana Iyeroy who has inherited her grandmother Ruby Iyer’s sword. You learn more about Ruby in some of the previous books in the series. This book is more of a journey for the character than some of the other books in the series have been. This book is about Leana a hybrid-shifter finding out who she is and where she belongs. This book leaves you wanting more. I can’t wait to read the rest of her story.

Redemption

I have been provided with a copy of Redemption by the author for an impartial review. I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick and easy read. In this book you get to see more of Leana and you get to see how she and Mikhail come together. It was really fun to see.

Fantastic series!

Each book can be read alone, but reading them back to back is such a different experience. Because you have all the characters together and they link in one way or another. Laxmi is amazing, I love her writing. Great series.
