After getting through Noah's story I was worried that Adam would be just as uninspiring. I was happy to see that I was wrong. Read the book in two days and loved ever word. One of my favorite in the series.

Fans of the Nightwalker series pay attention! Author Jacquelyn Frank has listened to our plea's, bribery and outright groveling of continuing the series with Adam. Let me tell you that the author did not disappoint the readers with this new book!

While this wasn't my favorite book in the series -- mainly because I am a sucker for Noah -- it still had the magic the readers come to expect from the Nightwalker world. Adam is the oldest brother to Jacob and Kane. Long ago, Adam disappeared from not only his home and time, but from his job as Enforcer for the Demon world. Jacob searched for him but found no trace of him. When Adam mysteriously shows up centuries later, everyone is surprised to see him including Jacob.

I will tell you that I heard the first chapter of this book had been leaked. (boo to who did that!) If you somehow read that first chapter -- again boo to all of you -- you were hit with a big surprise. What you don't know is how it is relates to the rest of the story. You must have faith in your author readers! Jacob's daughter has a special talent and it plays a key role in everything.

The one thing I didn't like about this book was the time jumping within the first half of the book. I started to get a headache from trying to keep track of the different times we were reading about, but eventually everything does come together and make sense. Before you even attempt to ask me, yes the evil Ruth is back and she is back with a vengeance in this installment. The way they handle her and wrap up this book was perfect. I couldn't think of a better revenge towards Ruth than what the author gives us.

If you are a fan of the Nightwalker series and have been waiting not so patiently for this book to arrive, trust me in saying that you shouldn't be too disappointed in this book. You will see previous characters play major roles in this story and familiar faces from other spin-offs of the story. I loved how the intertwined into one book. This just goes to show how readers can influence their authors in getting what we want! Thank you Jacquelyn Frank for listening to your readers!

I have to say, as much as I liked Jasmine’s character throughout this series, I really couldn’t see much of a story with her. So when I found out this book was about her, I was both excited but wary at the same time. I really had nothing to worry about.

Right off the bat, I went through a range of emotions from being pissed off at the author to being happy again. Then I became slightly bored, but only slightly. All of it was necessary to the overall plot of the story, and I’m very glad it was there. Otherwise, the book would have lost all of the impact it had in the end.

I really enjoyed the history of the other Nightwalkers that we got a few chapters of. It was very interesting to see the differences in how they were then compared to how we’ve known them so far. Of course, all of this leads up to how Adam and Jasmine begin their lives together.

It was fun to see Adam adjust to his new home and all the changes from what he was used to, and to see Jasmine go from being this ice queen to someone who is afraid to feel. The way they explored not only the world around them, but each other, was captivating. I felt like I was figuring them out just as they were, like I was in their heads.

This book really made me feel for not only Adam and Jasmine, but the rest of the Nightwalkers as well. The author really tore your heart out and crushed it into pieces before putting it back together and making you appreciate how everyone’s lives turned out. It was definitely an experience I won’t soon forget. I wish the ending had been a bit more climatic, but for what it’s worth, I was not disappointed.

Adam and Jasmine were so right for each other, even with all their differences. They had a series connection of a very intimate kind that left me hot and yearning for the completion of their journey. Every page I turned, I got sucked in further, hoping that not only would everything work out, but that they would have the kind of love that truly makes them happy. The romance between them was sultry and perfect. It was different and hot and incredibly perfect. There was no way it could have been any different. It left me hot and wanting more…a lot more.

This final installment was a great ending to an amazing series. I’m sad to leave this one behind, but it was well worth the journey. It was interesting. It was a nail-biter. It was enthralling. It was 100% hot, passionate, lustful, and full of sex and love.
