This was so beautiful and I want more stories in this world!! The one complaint I have is that the little girls didn't get much character development. But it was so fun to read and the art is amazing. The author clearly did a lot of research and takes diversity in a variety of forms seriously.
Graphic: Racism, Classism, Injury/Injury detail, Chronic illness, and Confinement
Moderate: Racism, Colonisation, and Dysphoria
Minor: Grief, Physical abuse, Child abuse, Gun violence, Vomit, and Death

Intersectionality, fighting systemic injustice, found family, magic, mischievous youths, gorgeous illustrations and the power of girlhood— what’s not to love? A perfect recipe of all the things I adore
Moderate: Chronic illness and Racism
Minor: Physical abuse and Hate crime
