There were times when the writing felt a bit juvenile and I forgot that they were older BUT other times I genuinely forgot I was reading an ARC from a newer author. Writing about celebrities and social media can put a younger tone to a story naturally so I didn’t let it bother me too much.

I am not one for insta-love but Luca and Millie were soooo stinking cute. I truly enjoyed the way this story followed them on their dates—seeing them grow from the blushing and sneaky looks to becoming an official couple was beautiful. I literally couldn’t stop smiling and kicking my feet from how golden retriever Luca is. From the moment their best friends set them up on a date, I was hooked. And the spice was tasteful, not overly excessive or cringy. Luca was a perfect gentlemen and yet still knew how to work his woman. Love him!!

My biiiiiiggest issue with this was honestly how Kayla just let her friend go through all of that to cover her own misgivings. MA’AM MILLIE DESERVED BETTER. I’m going to, of course, read the next one because I can’t *not* read about fake-dating but I hope she treats Millie better in the next one.

ARC Review:

Siren’s Heart: Love at First Sight by Hailey Frost is the first book in the Siren’s Duet series. This was a sweet and fun quick read. I loved this book! I am excited to read book 2 when it comes out.

Millie was such a sweetheart and such a great friend. Her and Luca had me smiling the whole book. They were so wholesome and adorable. This was such a great read! Luca was such a green flag. This man had me swooning. Millie is one half of the pop duo Siren’s. Luca is a famous actor. They meet at a charity football match where Millie is performing the half time show and Luca is a player. They instantly feel a connection with each other. I loved how shy both characters were in the beginning. I loved the dual POV since it gave an insight into what both characters thought about the other. This book also touches on the issues of social media and how hateful people can be online. This was a cute story and I enjoyed reading it.

HAPPY READING

This book was cute, fluffy, swoon worthy, and with added spice for a great combination.

Tropes:
Love at 1st Sight Dual POV Cute/Fluffy Romance Pop Star / Actor Spice Mine

Favorite Quote
"Now, let's enchant them."

Favorite Nickname:

Sunshine. (My nickname too)

I liked how descriptive the author was in building the world you follow with Millie and Luca. I liked the small details to bring the pictures more alive.

Millie is a sweet, kind, successful pop star who is hated by the media.

Luca is an actor, a gentleman, and a solid guy.

Watching them fall in love was adorable. Getting to know Asher and Kayla as their best friends added to the heart of the story as well.

It was funny, romantic, sweet, and spicy.

I loved the Johnny Cash and Aerosmith reference in the book.

Touching on the different love languages was a nice addition too.

The chapters were a little long but it didn't stop me from loving the story and looking forward to the next book.

❥ 𝗔𝗿𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄

❥ This book was an absolute delight, drawing me into its charming world with characters like Luca, whose goofiness and charm I loved, and Millie, whose sweetness and shyness captured my heart.

❥ It was so cute to witness Mille and Luca's relationship. They were shy around each other, yet when they wanted to talk about something, they just blurted out the first thing that came to mind. I think this spontaneity made their insta-love believable. I liked that we could see them becoming more confident when they were together and how Mille was so upfront about their relationship.

❥ This story dives into the nuances of fame, with its perks and pitfalls, and it shows how people deal with it differently and how that can hurt your mental health.

❥ As part of a pop duo, Mille's character had it worse; her manager treated her poorly. Throughout the book, I was so frustrated because she didn't deserve half the things that happened to her. The author described Mille's feelings so well that it felt like I was right there with her. We could see her struggle with her emotions, knowing that if everything came out in the open, her best friend would be hurt. At the same time, it was clear that the situation was taking a toll on her, and she was starting to become resentful.

❥ Despite the heavier subjects this book is filled with heartwarming moments between the main characters, adding the feeling of confort to the book. I loved their group of friends. We can see that they are really tight because there are no boundaries whatsoever. I also loved how Asher swooped in and saved the day.

❥ With the right amount of everything this is one read you don't want to miss

❥ Thank you, Hailey, for the opportunity to read such a delightful story.

Cute romance story, told in dual pov (love love love this). Starring Millie who is a popstar and Luca a famous actor. They cross paths when they are both preparing for a charity event Millie for her performance, Luca for the football game against other celebrities. It was love at first sight. This was a really cute read and I loved the main characters. I really liked reading about Millie's experiences with social media and negative aspects of fame (like internet trolls), I felt like it made for a more realistic story.
I look forward to seeing where the story goes in the next book, patiently awaiting the release. If you like any of the following tropes, you should give this book a read: fame/celebrity, actor x singer, golden retriever x sunshine, no third-act breakup, love at first sight, low angst, and dual pov.

Thank you to the author, Hailey Frost, for the ARC in exchange for my honest review!

I really enjoyed the read and instantly imagined recreating of the story and characters in Sims 4. The story progressed pretty fast and was perfect palette cleanser between more heavy books I was reading. It was littlebit to cheesy for my taste, but I still enjoyed it and would like to hang out with the characters little longer.

Sirens Heart is a Musician/Actor romance that is so sweet that it will make your teeth hurt but has some spice to offset it!

I really enjoyed this story and the characters. This story I found really wholesome and cute which made me smile throughout. I like that it showed venerability from a celeb that you do not always see or hear and showed a side of people that is truly horrible! We all know this type of thing happens and people should be ashamed of themselves for it!

The characters of Luca and Millie captured my heart from the start 🩷 I loved that they were not afraid to feel and to love, they were one of the best examples of a cute couple with the best couple goals! They were really well matched and there friends helped balance them out.

My heart went out to Millie with the different things she went through and I am so glad that she had a strong support system around her!
