Both the premise and the research behind the collection come through to create a powerful vision into the history and future of the gender as a whole. Where many similar collections may come off moreso as diatribes, Farmer's resonates more like a necessary manual, offering a celebration of women to accompany the call to arms.

An interesting concept, but most of the poems (I guess they're poems?) fell flat to me. There were a couple standouts for me though, "Women Might" and "Women Want." I think Farmer could have gone a lot farther with this and condensed the collection quite a bit (a lot of poems felt like repeats).
