I enjoyed the first volume in this manga series. Alex is a young witch with amazing powers. When her sister is wiped form existence she must infiltrate the Nightschool to figure out who is responsible. There are a lot of secondary characters which was kind of confusing. I enjoyed the mystery aspect of Alex's abilities.

Like a lot of Manga-style comics, I found this confusing: a lot of characters look too much like each other, and don't always look enough like themselves, either. I might read more of these if I had easy access to them, but I won't be tracking them down through ILL or anything.

Only read it because I liked her other series. This just wasn’t my cup of tea. I’m not a big vampire reader. I wasn’t a big fan when the genre escalated (thank you Twilight) but it grew on me a little. Now I definitely don’t miss vampire or dystopian books. Yay for variety!

Ahh this was so good!! Such a delightfully creepy, fun, detailed introduction to an alternate paranormal world. The author’s sense of humor was also the best!
