After three issues, I am…unimpressed. I had expected to subscribe, but I have found it difficult to like so far. Part of that, I am sure, is because I hate the setup that comes with starting off a serial: I hate first episodes of TV series, for example, because they have to spend so much time setting up the characters that very little seems to happen.
I am still reading, because this first arc has seemed to function as one extended introduction to the series. I suspect that I'll buy one or two more issues, but unless it starts grabbing my attention, I have other places to put my money.

Mr. Terrific has the emotional warmth of Batman on an "I am a goddamn island" tear and the ego of Doctor Doom. Nooooot loving him.
