Love addition of Myrnin. Interesting to see more of Amelie. For Claire being a genius or whatever, she’s pretty stupid in this one lol. Also come on Shane, you’re going to be that much of an asshole to your best friend because he did what he had to and is a vampire now?

This book was my favorite in the series so far. I hope it continues to get better.

I don't know whether I just wasn't in the right frame of mind for this book or whether I'm losing interest in the series, but I found this book such a drag to get through. I can't find fault in the writing or the story, just that I found it boring for the majority :/

I wish there were snippets of Eve's diary at the end of this book as with the 1st 2!

And I need to read book 4 now to find out why her parents are there!

I am really enjoying this series. The Morganville Vampires brings you back to the terrifying world of vampires. Leaving behind the Edwards, and Erics, and Bills. This book was a quick interesting read that I read in about four hours. The book is suspensful and full of twists. I do however, get annoyed with the ever, trouble making Monica. For a world where your actions cause you to pay at such high stakes, I find it unbelieveable that such a devious personality has remained unharmed, well I suppose that isn't really true. However, she grates my patience because of her never ending ability to deny fault, or take accountability for her actions. Although, I feel that the only character to develop in this book is Clare, I cannot help but wonder the real intentions behind Micheal or Shane's actions. The trouble that Claire seems to find is never ending.

This series is very addictive.

I needed a vampire story for a challenge, so I re-read this one.
