wowww what a clever and cool novel !! premise and concept were so fun to learn about, and i think even without having read any of the other books in this series (?) i understood what was happening and had a really great time reading it ! characters were so thoughtful and I really loved both yumi and painter 💗 also design was sooo fun and i wish we saw more of her ! art was incredible as well and added so much to the reading experience i loved it

Guys... GUYS. This story was everything to me!!! It was beautiful and poignant and fascinating! It made me want to laugh and cry at the same time! It made such beautiful points that hit home! I adored the characters and I of course loved my bestie Hoid as the narrator... I don't even know how to write a coherent review at this point! I have so much I want to say but have no idea how to say it... I'm still riding the book high! I think this will be my absolute favorite Secret Project, even topping Tress. It was gorgeous, it was action-packed, and it reminded me why I love Brandon Sanderson so much. It was spellbinding and I felt like I was reading Way of Kings for the first time again, feeling that wonder and being so invested in the story. I just... yeah. This was incredible! I'm so happy right now!
