Good

I don’t know what I expected going into this book but I did enjoy it. Ky was super hot and I get the feeling that all the Baum squad members are more than what they seem.

This had several things I enjoy, but somehow seemed to miss the mark.

It was a step sibling romance but wasn’t taboo in any we of the word.

It had an alpha hole hero who treated the heroine like shit several times, but wasn’t forced to do a very good job of groveling.

It had a hero who was supposedly out of the military and the president of a MC, but somehow acted like he was a high school kid (example throwing a tantrum and hating our heroine because his daddy chose to marry her mom instead of staying the club prez)

I did enjoy aspects of the story, and the writing was decent, but it just needed some more work IMO.

There was a lot to like about this book but there was a lot of disconnect too. I am a fan of MC books, there is very little interaction with the MC which made me feel like it was just tossed in to attract a larger audience.

I really enjoyed this book. I love a enemy to lovers book. I especially loved the back and forth between these 2. First off the Hero was SEXY AF....I mean DROOL! I love how the Heroine had previously lived through some rough shit and yet she was a strong heroine who seemed to hold her own. The chemistry between these two was FIRE HOT DAMN! I definitely would recommend this to anyone who loves a enemy to lovers book!

What starts as a request for help becomes a cry of ecstasy...

Slashes in the Snow had me from the get go. You see, I'm a bookwhore, an unrepentant greedy gobbler of words. I love all types of books. Various tropes and subgenres litter my TBR. But the crack to my addiction...the cherry on top is stepbrother romance. I am a friend for them and Slashes answers my craving!

The Baum Squad, Ky, and Gerard are a clusterf@ck of drama-all the more garnish on my edible dessert. Snow has her own issues. Getting these two together is a headache I wouldn't wish on anyone but the results are fireworks of epic proportions. I am so drawn in and the Baum Squad is going to have to adopt me. Either that or I will become Popeye's old lady just to be a part of it all!

Sexy and full of unresolved tension, Slashes in the Snow is an enemies to lovers, stepbrother romantics suspense novel. It's the cherry baum to you sundae!
