The smutt was good, the story was to be desired and the characters where a bit unbelievable.
Brett's a cop who feels she has to prove herself constantly, she is reluctantly attracted to the hooded vigilante called Kristos who is constantly helping her work efforts without her consent, they come together in the end to fight crime and have steamy moments.
I did honestly feel i was reading a superman retelling... Kristos and Lucian even have their own superhero costumes, that was the old official guard uniform on Saturn.... Yep they Aliens... Oh and the Kryptonite... I mean a mineral found underground that weakens the brothers.
Brett has to be one of the most annoying Characters, she is crying and eating chocolate because she is reluctant she doesn't want Kristos, crying before giving him a chance..... defeats the point of refusing him doesn't it? And what is it with saying "Jiminy Christmas" nearly every chapter luckily she doesn't ruin smut scenes by shouting it out.
Anyway she gets of her fears of intimacy once she discovers he is an alien.....
Yep throws all caution to the wind binding themselves together after only a few days which is more of a commitment as marriage as it lasts until you die. Luckily they have lots of greatly written smut and Kristos's alien man bits are the same as humans no horrible surprises.....
