This is book two in the Sisters of The Craft trilogy. I read the first book ( In The Air Tonight) and I just couldn't wait to start reading the second book because it was so darn good and good thing I already had the second book so I was able to read it right away.

I did enjoy Heat Of The Moment but not has much as In The Air. It is well written but I thought it was a little slower and I didn't like that she instantly liked her real sister, her real mother and her real father. I think maybe I would have liked the book better if it would have taken her more time to like them. Maybe I am just weird for feeling like that.

I will still read the third book closer to the date it will be released because I do want to know what happens with the third sister and all.

I give Heat Of The Moment 3 out of 5.

**WARNING: I stayed away from spoilers, but this review talks about all the books in the Sisters of the Craft Series**

You can't read one of the books in the Sisters of the Craft series without reading them all so I decided to write a series review instead of individual book reviews.

IN THE AIR TONIGHT follows Raye. I found her to be strong and loyal, but lonely. Being adopted has made her a bit of an outsider in the town she great up in, but she doesn't really have a want to go anywhere else. Bobby drew her attention pretty quickly and they had a lot of chemistry. He has some issues believing in the supernatural so has a hard time with Raye's abilities. We learn a lot about where the sisters come from and why the conflict exists in IN THE AIR TONIGHT.

HEAT OF THE MOMENT follows Becca. She has a great family and never knew she wasn't a blood part of it. She is independent, confident in her career, but we find out that she is still heartbroken over her teenage love OWEN. They both have to work through their pasts to make it to the future stronger and together. I really loved Reggie. I don't know how someone couldn't, he was a great addition to the story.

SMOKE ON THE WATER follows Willow. Everyone, including Willow thinks she's crazy. She currently resides in a psychiatric facility. When the man she's been having visions of for years walks into her life as her new psychiatrist she doesn't know what to think besides the fact that they belong together and he is going to save her. I don't have a ton of thoughts on the events of SMOKE ON THE WATER that revolves around getting to know Willow. That part of the story was a little slow, but I enjoyed the addition of Mary in her story and it really drew the other books into the story before the sisters actually all met up. The relationship between Willow and Sebastian wasn't as smooth as the other couples, but it really couldn't be easy because of where they were and their relationships.

I actually loved each of the sisters in their own way. They were all able to complement each other and work together from the start. Each book did a great job in continuing the major storyline and building up the world it takes place in. The story was wrapped up nicely at the end of SMOKE ON THE WATER and although I would have loved to read more about the sister's futures, I was happy with the way things ended. The Sisters of the Craft series gave me a great few days of reading. If I was you, I would wait until they are all out so you can read them back to back.

I am not sure why but I have found in some series that the second book will lag. I will end up reading just so I can get to the next book. I am so happy to report that HEAT OF THE MOMENT is not such a book. If anything, this book is better then the first book.
I tend to be drawn to any book about animals and one where the heroine can actually talk to them. I am so there. I love the character of Becca. She is just that tad different and not quite sure why she doesn't fit with the rest of the family but she is really happy with her choice of profession.
She had grown up with Owen and fallen in love with him before he up and left. She's never gotten over his departure though neither has he. They run back into each other at the scene of animal sacrifices.
I found that I enjoyed this book much more then the first. It's not any longer but Becca and Owen have a history which helps to explain the swiftness at which their relationship develops. There was some great dialogue, instances of male pride, sexual chemistry and danger. What more could a reader desire?

I do recommend this book to any of my readers who enjoy paranormal romance. It's a quick read and now is the perfect time to pick up all three so you can just go from one book to another..

I love this series, so much fun but also a good action mystery with romance thrown in.

In the first book we were introduced to Raye who speaks to ghosts in this book we meet Becca who can talk to animals and has the ability to heal, I can't wait to meet the 3rd sister and find out what her gift is! Trained as a vet Becca just thinks she is good at her job and the discussions she has with her patients and gut feelings about what is wrong with them is all in her head, but of course its much more than that.

Not only can Becca heal animals she can heal people and as the book progresses you find out just how this gift has guided her life. I really enjoyed this book, it didn't build at as slow a pace as the first one, and there were less crimes to investigate and follow but it didn't lack for anything. I loved that Raye and the other players from book 1 made an appearance and I once again fell under the spell of Handeland's storytelling.

The romance was hot and steamy without being too graphic and and the mystery and danger continue to leave you turning the pages as fast as you can.

This is the second Sisters of the Craft book. If you haven't read the first, I highly recommend. This book is about Becca. She is a veterinarian in Three Harbors. A very good one. It helps that she can hear the thoughts of animals, though she's pretty sure that's just her imagination. Owen is home from the marines to recover from an injury. He doesn't plan to stay. He doesn't feel like he's good enough for Becca, even after 10 years. This is a second chance romance wrapped in an exciting paranormal mystery with witches and magic. I love this series and I can't wait to read about the third sister.

I am enjoying this new series. This book gives us Becca and Owen’s story. Becca has a special talent when it comes to animals. She can communicate with them. Owen is the man she will never forget and now he is back in town. Owen has returned to heal but when he comes back he finds a grizzly scene at his mother’s house. He needs Becca’s help but will their past hinder their future?

I enjoyed meeting Becca and Owen. I loved seeing the two reconnect. Their attraction only grows and becomes deeper as they work together. Becca and Owen make a great couple but there is a problem; evil is in the town and not ready to let its grip go. As the two try to figure things out emotions flare and love is put to the test.
This is a fast paced read that grabs your attention right from the very beginning and does not let go until the end. This is a great addition to the series and I cannot wait to read the next sister’s book.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

#2 part of sisters of craft series.
I enjoyed main character Becca very much (more than Raye) because I also like animals. It would be fantastic to communicate with them through their thoughts :) - very cool
I like Owen's character as well - it is not strainght forward and complex like most people are. I loved Reggie too - he is military dog and he has tough personality but all warm candy for Granede (ah Granede is little kitten that he found)!

I though the end was pretty complex and unpredicatable (and didn't understand wolves envolvement that much) but I am happy that Owen is not stuck with Becca's ghost - that wouldn't have been too good for everyone.

Overall I'd say I enjoyed it more than #1 and that is how it should work.
Already started with #3 - Smoke on the water as cannot wait to read about last sister which no one knows how to find! Thrilling...
