The Return of Sherlock Holmes is a collection of 13 Short Stories which are set 3 years after the final story seen within The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes, in which Sherlock Holmes was seen to have supposedly died.
Arthur Conan Doyle managed to work a resolution of this "false" death very well in the first short story showing that Holmes had been missing for a valid reason, one that actually tied into the very story that he had "died" in.
Other than this, I have to admit it was pretty standard Sherlock Holmes fare with him using his deductive reasoning to solve plenty of crimes and issues of importance. At times because of the length of the stories, the plots can be a little weak but they usually keep you guessing right until the end about what has actually happened and I did enjoy them all.

whooo sherlock is back from the dead!!! i think these books are slowly killing me but i’m almost done
Another Good time with the Sherlock Series. Although.. I feel like they did Mary wrong in this collection. Its funny because as a collection I feel like this has been a 5 stars series for me, but I dont think I've rated anything five stars yet. They are all just fun, nothing amazing, no big favorites so far but overall I am really enjoying the series! It has issues but is progressive enough that I'm not mad at it.. I dunno. Its been good!
