Brooks is the most recognizable face in football, and he lives for the quiet moments before someone notices him and asks for a picture. So, when Ashley sits down next to him on the plane, and doesn’t even bat an eye at his public identity, he was immediately intrigued. Her looks also appealed to him, as well as her personality, as they spend time talking on the plane.

It was an intense, emotional trip with these two. They got hot and heavy very fast, and also fell very fast with each other. They only had a couple of days together before Brooks’s life in the public eye interfered in a big way, and Ashley had a very hard time dealing with it.

I enjoyed these two. My biggest complaint would be that it is so short. I would have enjoyed more of their story. This feels like it was a condensed version of what would be a great full-length novel.

Thank you to Lady Boss Press and the author for providing me with an ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Brooks just sometimes wants his life to be normal, on the flight he wasn’t expecting to be sitting next to Ashley who has no clue who he is or the electricity of their handshake.
She’s adorable, sassy and a relief form the normal women that throw themselves at him.
Ashley never expected to hear from Brooks again, but a simple Tweet changed all that, and she finds herself messaging him, and agreeing to see him. Brooks says all the right things, but did she meet the real Brooks, the one she couldn’t forget from the plane or she making a mistake.
Brooks can’t believe he found Ashley, although she’s shy at first, the girl from the plane comes out, he loves that she didn’t know who he was and doesn’t care, but can she survive in his world.

It was alright.
I didn’t buy some of the things regarding paparazzi.
There are a lot of things rushed in the book.
I’m kind of bummed that it didn’t take longer to find her again. I was in for kind of a chasing thing, but instead we got a quick Insta dm, that he obviously immediately found in the mountains of requests he must get on a day to day? K.

I dunno. It was okay that book, but nothing more 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm not a lover of sports romance, you've never met anyone less interested in sports LOL. But I have enjoyed the author's other books so decided to give it a go! I was not disappointed. It's very light on sports and more centred on the characters themselves thankfully. I only had to look up a couple of sporting analogies!

Brooks might be a top-notch footballer but he just wants to fly under the radar and have a normal-ish life. He loves meeting his fans but could do without the paparazzi. When the female next to him has no clue who he is, he's enthralled. She is a breath of fresh air. But when he doesn't get her contact details he has no idea how to find her until he takes to social media! Time to use it for some positivity.

Ashley just thought the guy next to her was sweet and hot! She never expected to find herself beoming a trend on twitter! Goaded by her friend into replying to Brooks, she finds herself wrapped up in a whirlwind. She really likes this guy but the whole paparazzi thing is upsetting her even keel.

I really liked Brooks. He's a great mix of football superstar, the sweet guy next door, and just down to earth really. His best friend works in the stadium as security! Ashley may be naive when it comes to all things sports but she is no dummy. She knows what she wants but is she strong enough to go for it with all the added circus that comes with Brooks, through no fault of his own?

Sports romance light, great characters, brilliant meet-cute, and short and snappy story arc. Brilliant read to fill a lunch hour or so.
