Eddie Muller selected six 'bad girls' of film noir to highlight their early lives, drive to be in the movies, and post-acting life. The book gives us insight into the following actors: Jane Greer, Evelyn Keyes, Ann Savage, Coleen Gray, Audrey Totter, and Marie Windsor. The first half of the book profiles their lives before the movies, how they came to be in movies, and the high and low points of their careers. The second half of the book focuses on each actress and their post-career lives.
It's an interesting book and a must-read for any fan of the best femme fatales of film noir.
