I think the idea is there. But the writing is not stellar and often rambles about things unimportant to the plot. I’m sure as the reader we’re feeling the same frustration as the FMC, but when it’s her own thoughts talking in circles…

They also skip around to random things and times that don’t always feel like a good flow. Random scenes make little to no sense in the larger plot and feel like red herrings.

Unlike most romances though, I do plan to read this sequel. I’m interested in what happens next and how we come back around to the beginning. (Hopefully the second book has less self loathing though).

Im not really sure what I just read, nor the hype? hahah I assume it gets much better and we got a lot more character development. This book was just a lot of horny teenagers meets fast and furious meets Robinhood.

I’m just so confused I don’t know what to make of this book. All I know is that I couldn’t put it down and now I’m so eager to get some ANSWERS.
