This was a three star series conclusion until the final few chapters. At that point it became a four star book, as the author led the characters full circle with twists and turns I didn't see coming. An extremely satisfying ending to the story of the tinker, tailor, soldier, sailor, Karai Institute and Massa.

This series started out good, but after book 3 it went down hill. So glad its finished, I doubt I could have read a 6th book.

One hell of an action packed series, let alone book. Lerangis just totally submerges you into this overflowing world full of mystery, twists, action, history, and all those great things. I had a tiny few problems with this series, but every series is going to have those. They weren't big enough to make me change my rating, as I definitely believe this is a series not to be missed!! Perfect to start if you plan on getting into Middle Grade!!
Will definitely be picking more up from this author!

Perfect end to a fantastic series. I gotta admit I got a little misty eyed finishing this. I've been reading and loving this series since I happened upon Colossus Rises in Kmart about 4 years ago. I've had this one since it came out in February but just could not bring myself to read it knowing the series would be over. I finally bucked up and read it and was not disappointed by the finale. I'll miss reading about all these great characters that Peter Lerangis created.
