Mae's family has been holidaying in a cabin in Utah with her parents college friends and their own families or 25 years and on the last morning they get told that it will be the last time they will be in the cabin as its being sold.

As she and her family are driving away she doesn't know what she wants anymore so she says to the universe show me what makes me happy, they immediately get hit from a truck and Mae wakes up on a plane thinking she slept whilst they put her on a plane.  But in reality she has went back in time six days so the cabin visit hasn't happened.

So she has to try to determine on what she wants, is it the cabin or is it her childhood crush her mum's bestfriends son Andrew.  As she struggles to decipher what she wants the universe isn't going to make it easy for her to leave happy.

Notes and opinions:
These books by CL are getting harder and harder for me to read. Out of all the latest ones they’ve released this has been the best, unfortunately thats still not a good thing! I don’t know what these two authors have been thinking lately but I’m not liking if, and I know I’m not alone. I love the concept of this book I just feel that it was portrayed incorrectly. It could have been done a lot better. I feel as though the two main characters this was about were just forced together by the authors, I didn’t really feel a connection between the two. Maybe that’s why I didn’t enough it much...
Overall rating (1-5 stars): 3/5

3 stars only because I ate it up in one seating as the story can be read quite easily…

I hope there’s Theo POV so at least we get to know why he reacted that way and the end when he say “you led me on” made me agree with Mae! How can you react that way yet expect something else?

Andrew on the other hand… did he even listen before getting unhappy and getting in a fight with Mae? My goodness…

And somehow it was so easy for Theo to “let her go”? …
I cannot… comprehend…

It was a light and nice read but I really couldn’t feel the romance between the MCs.
Giving it a 3.5⭐️

All in all, this was a fun holiday book filled with friendship, family, and tradition themes that I enjoyed. I would have given more stars except I felt that the time-loop situation was sloppy and was not addressed or explained again once everything started to go well for the main character. It’s as if the time-loop never happened. The authors wasted an opportunity here and there were many problems that I couldn’t look past so three stars it is.
