A beautifully written tale with a perfect blend of action and emotion. I was instantly enthralled by the unicorn and whisked away with her on her adventure. The plot progresses at a healthy pace, while still pausing to let you soak in the scenery and company along the way. The conclusion was satisfying, but at the same time left me feeling rather sad, quite like the look of sorrow the unicorn saw in the faces of humans. Despite the lingering feeling of loss/sadness, I would absolutely read this again.

It started off well but suddenly dropped off. I feel like there's no flow to this book, and it now sounds like gibberish.
Giving up at 72%.

Pretty story. Maybe good to read to kids? I don’t have any but none the less.

2.5 stars.

Just not my cup of tea. I thought the characterization of the unicorn left something to be desired.
